We are a couple of days away from the first of the two eclipses in this powerful month, although in reality the power has been building for a few days now.
Today I felt that pause significantly.
I decided that I needed to spend time away from the cacophony of the city, so completely immersed am I in its heart during the week. I went into the retreat of a lovely Japanese garden for awhile, ancient pagoda and lovely old trees that swayed and whispered as I sat beneath them.
The silence of the place was profound, still, and pure. And I knew then that whatever is happening in the world of form, in the fabricated world of our cities and our towns, our nations, exists in an absolute parallel universe to what is really happening, right now.
The disintegration of what is no longer appropriate is painful to watch, but watch we must, and not participate. The dross, the irrelevant and the banal is giving away.
