I am reading this novel and it is about interior spaces, magic rooms and caverns, libraries and great halls of learning, wonderful ballrooms full of magic, laughter, love and light. There are spaces where you can walk long glorious seashores. And these worlds can only be accessed by those who believe, for they open the doors to great treasures.
The doors can be found anywhere, in parks and gardens, in alleyways covered with litter and graffiti, rarely in churches, and they appear to those whose eyes are meant to see them, a trompe l'oeil invitation to draw closer and to enter.
Some enter, some reach out for the doorknob and then change their minds, some come back the next day to find that the door has been painted over....
By those who don't want the seeker to see the magic and the wonder of a world that you will never find in the flat 3D earth that many have come to accept as their reality.
Those who paint over the doors over are the shadow group in our world.
Those who paint the doors to begin with are the visionaries, the dreamers, those who seeks justice and knowledge. Beauty, peace and harmony.
Because once you enter that door you will never be the same.
