There is a great outpouring of grief over the wildfires in Australia, as we all collectively experienced when the same fate attended California, the unremitting push of the fires and its devastating consequences,.
What we are forgetting is that the Earth has an agenda of her own and when she touches down like she does in these fires, or in earthquakes, tornadoes and hurricanes, we must remember that She is struggling to stand on her feet once again as a Radiant and Perfect Being of Light, much maligned and treated cruelly by the majority of the populace for generations as we exploited her for our financial gain.
That time is now over.
A month ago or so, Archangel Gabriel came into one of my morning meditations. "Don't worry about the Earth' he told me, 'You are adding to her burden. The Earth will survive, just love her."
Both Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Michael stress the need for all of us to look at the "apparent disharmony" from a higher vantage point, knowing that we can never see the entire picture but trusting, with all our hearts, that God's will is being done.
Is it right to pray? Of course, but always with the admonition that the "highest Good prevail for all." God is inscrutable to us, a magnificent Mystery. Trust Her/Him.
The Divine Blueprint is unfolding whether we wail and moan, or not.
As an aside, I always find it interesting that those who don't believe in God at all always blame "him" (tends to be male) for all the disharmony and strife in the world, "how could you allow evil if you are a God of Love, etc." A few years ago when the Ethiopian famine was taking a devastating toll of children and many others in the population a friend, a Catholic nun, also raged and wondered where God was in the face of this tragedy.
I wrote a poem and left it with her. The first stanzas were all about the people's rage, fists to heaven, blasphemies at how this could be allowed.
I added God's voice into the last stanza:
"You asked where I was in this hell
And I say, 'where were you?'"
