I remember an Indiana Jones movie where the Nazis were looking for the Ark of the Covenant and therefore immortality, as if the Divine would grant that to an ethic of pure evil and utter corruptibility. As if God could be commanded and conquered by anyone.
All that the Nazis would have found would have been the exterior relics of a sacred container for the Divine, as their blackened hearts would not have been allowed to venture farther.
Heaven can't be stormed. A line from another movie, The Da Vinci Code, wraps it up "Only the worthy can see the Grail" and only God decides who is worthy.
We only see as much as we are permitted to see, and this is based upon the true condition of our Sacred Heart and our relation to the Divine. No pope, or head of any church, or religion, holds a place of preference as we are all prostrate before the Divine who ultimately sees deep within our human condition.
I have heard it said that in ancient Atlantis the priests and priestesses would write sacred truths upon crystal slates with crystal wands and that every student present would only understand what was in their purview to understand, and nothing more.
