"Ancestral Memory" by Shana Strauss
I just came from a massage with a Reiki healer. I am exceptionally sensitive to the flow of energies around me from all dimensions. As I lay on the table and my healer began to loosen my knots of resistance I could feel myself become a river. I followed the skeins of this river as it meandered gently through my pores and veins, through my DNA and through ancestral memory.
We are all the embodiment of our ancestors and we have all been gifted the opportunity to heal our ancestral lineage and our past.
I thought about my immediate ancestral line. On my mother's side there was the London blitz along with an ancestor who was part of the planning of Operation Overlord or the invasion of Normandy.
On my father's side there was the occupying forces of the Nazis and the complete eradication of freedom, for five years. The imprint of these experiences alone, without delving any further back in time, have been passed along to me and to my siblings, whether we are aware of this or not.
We are, essentially, the children of trauma survivors.
In this time of Cosmic growth as the Light pours in, we are being given the opportunity to finally heal our past, and heal our line, in a accelerated time frame.
The ancestors are both with us now and working with us.
